Ingredient #1: Zinc
Boost your immune system
- Zinc lozenges and the common cold: a meta-analysis comparing zinc acetate and zinc gluconate, and the role of zinc dosage
- https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/2054270417694291
- Placebo-controlled zinc lozenge trials, in which the zinc dose was > 75 mg/day. The pooled effect of zinc lozenges on common cold duration was calculated by using inverse-variance random-effects method.
- Seven randomised trials with 575 participants with naturally acquired common colds. Duration of testing last the duration of a common cold.
- The mean common cold duration was 33% (95% CI 21% to 45%) shorter for the zinc groups of the seven included trials. Three trials that used lozenges composed of zinc acetate found that colds were shortened by 40% and four trials that used zinc gluconate by 28%. The difference between the two salts was not significant: 12 percentage points (95% CI: −12 to + 36). Five trials used zinc doses of 80–92 mg/day, common cold duration was reduced by 33%, and two trials used zinc doses of 192–207 mg/day and found an effect of 35%. The difference between the high-dose and low-dose zinc trials was not significant: 2 percentage points (95% CI: −29 to + 32).
- There is no evidence that zinc doses over 100 mg/day might lead to greater efficacy in the treatment of the common cold.
Accelerates wound healing
- The effects of zinc supplementation on wound healing and metabolic status in patients with diabetic foot ulcer: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial
- https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/wrr.12537
- The current randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial was conducted among 60 patients (aged 40–85 years old) with grade 3 diabetic foot ulcer.
- Participants were randomly divided into two groups (30 participants in each group) to take either 220 mg zinc sulfate supplements containing 50 mg elemental zinc or placebo daily for 12 weeks. After the 12-week intervention, compared with the placebo, zinc supplementation was associated with significant reductions in ulcer length (−1.5 ± 0.7 vs. −0.9 ± 1.2 cm, p = 0.02) and width (−1.4 ± 0.8 vs. −0.8 ± 1.0 cm, p = 0.02)
- Zinc supplementation for 12 weeks among diabetic foot ulcer patients had beneficial effects on parameters of ulcer size and metabolic profiles.
Reduces the risk of certain age-related diseases
- Zinc supplementation decreases incidence of infections in the elderly: effect of zinc on generation of cytokines and oxidative stress
- https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0002916523279939?via%3Dihub
- A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial of zinc supplementation was conducted in elderly subjects. Fifty healthy subjects of both sexes aged 55–87 y and inclusive of all ethnic groups were recruited for this study from a senior center.
- The zinc-supplemented group received zinc gluconate (45 mg elemental Zn/d) orally for 12 mo. The incidence of infections during the supplementation period was documented
- After zinc supplementation, the incidence of infections was significantly lower, plasma zinc was significantly higher, and generation of tumor necrosis factor α and oxidative stress markers was significantly lower in the zinc-supplemented than in the placebo group.
Helps treat acne
- Serum zinc levels and efficacy of zinc treatment in acne vulgaris: A systematic review and meta-analysis
- https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/dth.14252
- Subjects with acne had significantly lower serum zinc levels compared to controls.
- Patients who were treated with zinc had a significant improvement in mean inflammatory papule count compared to those who were not treated with zinc.
- There was no significant difference in the incidence of side effects in zinc supplementation vs comparators. Acne patients have decreased serum zinc levels.
- Zinc is effective for the treatment of acne, particularly at decreasing the number of inflammatory papules, when used as monotherapy or as an adjunctive treatment.
Decreases inflammation
- Zinc decreases C-reactive protein, lipid peroxidation, and inflammatory cytokines in elderly subjects: a potential implication of zinc as an atheroprotective agent.
- We recruited 40 healthy elderly subjects (aged 56–83 y) and randomly assigned them to 2 groups. One group was given an oral dose of 45 mg zinc/d as a gluconate for 6 mo. The other group was given a placebo. Cell culture models were conducted to study the mechanism of zinc as an atheroprotective agent.
- After 6 mo of supplementation, the intake of zinc, compared with intake of placebo, increased the concentrations of plasma zinc and decreased the concentrations of plasma high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP), interleukin (IL)-6, macrophage chemoattractant protein 1 (MCP-1), vascular cell adhesion molecule 1 (VCAM-1), secretory phospholipase A2, and malondialdehyde and hydroxyalkenals (MDA+HAE) in elderly subjects.
- Regression analysis showed that changes in concentrations of plasma zinc were inversely associated with changes in concentrations of plasma hsCRP, MCP-1, VCAM-1, and MDA+HAE after 6 mo of supplementation.
- In cell culture studies, we showed that zinc decreased the generation of tumor necrosis factor-α, IL-1β, VCAM-1, and MDA+HAE and the activation of nuclear transcription factor κB and increased antiinflammatory proteins A20 and peroxisome proliferator–activated receptor-α in human monocytic leukemia THP-1 cells and human aortic endothelial cells compared with zinc-deficient cells.
Ingredient #2: Phytopin
Reduce cholesterol levels
- Phytosterols in the Treatment of Hypercholesterolemia and Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases
- https://www.scielo.br/j/abc/a/Lzw5HRYHkYZQtBPwbp5mSwB/?lang=en
- Clinical studies consistently indicate that the intake of phytosterols (2 g/day) is associated with a significant reduction (8-10%) in levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-cholesterol). Thus, several guidelines recommend the intake of 2 g/day of plant sterols and/or stanols in order to reduce LDL-cholesterol levels
- As the typical Western diet contains only about 300 mg/day of phytosterols, foods enriched with phytosterols are usually used to achieve the recommended intake.
Lowers the risk of certain cancers
- The Phytosterol Peniocerol Inhibits Cell Proliferation and Tumor Growth in a Colon Cancer Xenograft Model
- https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/oncology/articles/10.3389/fonc.2019.01341/full
- SW-620, HCT-15, and HCT-116 colon cancer cell lines were treated with peniocerol for cytotoxicity by crystal violet technique
- Peniocerol inhibited cell growth and induced apoptosis in vitro in a time and dose-dependent manner. Besides, peniocerol administration (30 or 15 mg/kg) inhibited tumor growth and induced apoptosis in the xenograft mice. The lack of peniocerol toxicity was proved by a biochemical blood analysis of healthy nu/nu mice administrated with this sterol.
- Our results proved that peniocerol induces apoptosis in vitro and in vivo assays.
Ingredient #3: Saw palmetto fruit extract
Help kill and slow the growth of certain cancer cells, including of the prostate
- Saw Palmetto Extract Inhibits Metastasis and Antiangiogenesis through STAT3 Signal Pathway in Glioma Cell
- https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4692995/
- Research indicated that saw palmetto extract markedly inhibited the proliferation of human glioma cells through STAT3 signal pathway.
- TUNEL assay indicated that the apoptotic cells in the saw palmetto treated group are higher than that in the control group (p < 0.05). The apoptosis related protein is detected and the results revealed that saw palmetto extract inhibits the proliferation of human glioma.
- Meanwhile pSTAT3 is lower in the experimental group and CD34 is also inhibited in the saw palmetto treated group. This means that saw palmetto extract could inhibit the angiogenesis in glioma. We found that saw palmetto extract was an important phytotherapeutic drug against the human glioma through STAT3 signal pathway.
Improving urine flow and reducing nighttime urination
- Efficacy and safety of a hexanic extract of Serenoa repens (Permixon®) for the treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (LUTS/BPH): systematic review and meta-analysis of randomised controlled trials and observational studies
- https://bjuijournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/bju.14362
- Data from 27 studies (15 RCTs and 12 observational studies) were included for meta-analysis (total N = 5 800). Compared with placebo, the HESr was associated with 0.64 (95% confidence interval [CI] −0.98 to −0.31) fewer voids/night (P < 0.001) and an additional mean increase in Qmax of 2.75 mL/s (95% CI 0.57 to 4.93; P = 0.01).
- The present meta-analysis, which includes all available RCTs and observational studies, shows that the HESr (Permixon) reduced nocturia and improved Qmax compared with placebo and had a similar efficacy to tamsulosin and short-term 5-ARI in relieving LUTS. HESr (Permixon) appears to be an efficacious and well-tolerated therapeutic option for the long-term medical treatment of LUTS/BPH
- Efficacy and Safety of Hexanic Lipidosterolic Extract of Serenoa repens (Permixon) in the Treatment of Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms Due to Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia: Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Randomized Controlled Trials
- https://www.eufocus.europeanurology.com/article/S2405-4569(16)30021-9/fulltext
- The systematic search identified 12 RCTs: 7 compared Permixon with placebo; 2 compared Permixon with tamsulosin; 2 compared Permixon plus tamsulosin with, respectively, placebo plus tamsulosin and tamsulosin alone; and 1 compared Permixon with finasteride
- Permixon was significantly more effective than placebo in reducing the number of nocturnal voids (weighted mean difference [WMD] -0.31; p=0.03) and increasing maximum flow rate (Qmax; WMD 3.37; p<0.0001)
- Permixon had a favorable safety profile, with a very limited impact with regard to ejaculatory dysfunction compared with tamsulosin (0.5% vs 4%; p=0.007) and with regard to decreased libido and impotence compared with short-term finasteride (2.2% and 1.5% vs 3% and 2.8%, respectively).
Ingredient #4: Beto sitosteral
Helps Lower LDL Cholesterol
- Association of Natural Intake of Dietary Plant Sterols with Carotid Intima–Media Thickness and Blood Lipids in Chinese Adults
- https://journals.plos.org/plosone/articleid=10.1371/journal.pone.0032736
- Study included 1160 men and 2780 women aged 31–75 years
- After adjusting for potential covariates, multivariate analysis showed a dose-dependent inverse association of total PS intake with serum TC, LDLc, non-HDLc in women (P<0.001) and in men (P<0.05).
- compared to the lowest quartile of PS intake (<206 mg/d), the multivariate-adjusted means of TC, LDLc and non-HDLc in the highest quartile of PS intake (447 mg/d) decreased by 5.0%, 6.2% and 6.5% in women (P<0.005), and by 6.4%, 7.1% and 6.7% (P>0.05) in men
- Although the IMTs tended to be lower with greater intake of dietary PS, only small differences in the left internal IMT between the highest and lowest groups were observed among men (−7.6%) and women (−5.1%) (P<0.05)Help Prevent Prostate Problems
Beta-sitosterols for benign prostatic hyperplasia
- https://www.cochranelibrary.com/cdsr/doi/10.1002/14651858.CD001043/full
- 519 men from 4 randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind trials, (lasting 4 to 26 weeks) were assessed. 3 trials used non-glucosidic B-sitosterols and one utilized a preparation that contained 100% B-sitosteryl-B-D-glucoside
- B-Sitosterols improved urinary symptom scores and flow measures. The weighted mean difference (WMD) for the IPSS was -4.9 IPSS points (95%CI = -6.3 to -3.5, n = 2 studies). The WMD for peak urine flow was 3.91 ml/sec (95%CI = 0.91 to 6.90, n = 4 studies) and the WMD for residual volume was -28.62 ml (95%CI = -41. 42 to -15.83, n = 4 studies).
- The trial using 100% B-sitosteryl-B-D-glucoside (WA184) show improvement in urinary flow measures. B-sitosterols did not reduce prostate size. Withdrawal rates for men assigned to B-sitosterol and placebo were 7.8% and 8. 0%, respectively.
- The evidence suggests non-glucosidic B-sitosterols improve urinary symptoms and flow measures. Their long term effectiveness, safety and ability to prevent BPH complications are not known.
Ingredient #5: Stinging needle root extract
Treat Enlarged Prostate Symptoms
- Efficacy and safety of a combination of Sabal and Urtica extract in lower urinary tract symptoms
- https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s11255-006-9173-7
- the long-term efficacy and tolerability of a fixed combination of 160 mg Sabal fruit extract WS 1473 and 120 mg Urtica root extract WS 1031 per capsule (PRO 160/120) were investigated in elderly men with moderate or severe lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) caused by benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).
- Two hundred and fifty-seven patients were randomly treated with 2 x 1 capsule/day PRO 160/120 or placebo for 24 weeks, followed by a 24-week control period and a 48-week follow-up period in which all patients received PRO 160/120
- Between baseline and end of observation (week 96) the I-PSS total score was reduced by 53% (P < 0.001), peak and average urinary flow increased by 19% (P < 0.001), and residual urine volume decreased by 44% (P = 0.03)
- Treatment with PRO 160/120 thus provides a clinically relevant benefit over a period of 96 weeks.
Blood Sugar Control
- Improved glycemic control in patients with advanced type 2 diabetes mellitus taking Urtica dioica leaf extract: a randomized double-blind placebo-controlled clinical trial
- https://www.clin-lab-publications.com/article/1208
- we evaluated the effects of taking nettle leaf extract (one 500 mg capsule every 8 hours for 3 months) combined with the conventional oral anti-hyperglycemic drugs on the blood levels of fasting glucose, postprandial glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c), creatinine and liver enzymes SGOT and SGPT, and systolic and diastolic blood pressures in 46 patients and compared with the placebo group (n = 46).
- At the endpoint, the extract lowered the blood levels of fasting glucose, 2 hours postprandial glucose, and HbA1c significantly (p < 0.001, p = 0.009, and p = 0.006, respectively) without any significant effects on the other parameters (p > 0.05) compared with placebo
- safely improve glycemic control in type 2 diabetic patients needing insulin therapy.
Ingredient #6: Prostate powder
- Glandular Extracts include: liver extract, thymus extract, thyroid extract, adrenal extract, pancreatic extract
Ingredient #7: Pumpkin seed extract
Improve prostate and bladder health
- Pumpkin seed oil (Cucurbita pepo) versus tamsulosin for benign prostatic hyperplasia symptom relief: a single-blind randomized clinical trial
- https://bmcurol.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12894-021-00910-8
- Patients were randomized into two groups. One group received 0.4 mg tamsulosin every night at bedtime and the other received 360 mg pumpkin seed oil twice a day.
- there was a significant decrease in IPSS and a significant improvement in QoL in both groups
- Although the decrease in IPSS from baseline to 1 month and 3 months was significantly higher in the tamsulosin group compared to the pumpkin group (P = 0.048 and P = 0.020, respectively), the decrease in IPSS from 1 to 3 months was similar (P = 0.728). None of the patients in the pumpkin group experienced drug side effects, while dizziness (5.9%), headache (2.9%), retrograde ejaculation (2.9%), and erythema with pruritus occurred in the tamsulosin group.
- Pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo) seed oil relieved BPH symptoms with no side effects.
- Pumpkin Seed Oil Extracted From Cucurbita maxima Improves Urinary Disorder in Human Overactive Bladder
- https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S2225411016302127?via%3Dihub
- Evaluated the effect of the pumpkin seed oil from Cucurbita maxima on urinary dysfunction in human overactive bladder (OAB). Forty-five subjects were enrolled in this study
- An extract of pumpkin seed oil from maxima (10 g of oil/day) was orally administrated for 12 weeks. After 6 and 12 weeks, urinary function was evaluated using Overactive Bladder Symptom Score (OABSS)
- Pumpkin seed oil from maxima significantly reduced the degree of OABSS in the subjects. The results from our study suggest that pumpkin seed oil extracts from C. maxima as well as from C. pepo are effective for urinary disorders such as OAB in humans.
Ingredient #8: Medium chain Triglyceride powder
Helps manage Alzheimer’s disease
- Ketogenic Medium Chain Triglycerides Increase Brain Energy Metabolism in Alzheimer's Disease
- https://content.iospress.com/articles/journal-of-alzheimers-disease/jad180202
- Mild-moderate AD patients sequentially consumed 30 g/d of two different MCT supplements, both for one month: a mixture of caprylic (55%) and capric acids (35%) (n = 11), followed by a wash-out and then tricaprylin (95%; n = 6). Brain ketone (11C-acetoacetate) and glucose (FDG) uptake were quantified by PET before and after each MCT intervention
- Brain ketone consumption doubled on both types of MCT supplement. The slope of the relationship between plasma ketones and brain ketone uptake was the same as in healthy young adults. Both types of MCT increased total brain energy metabolism by increasing ketone supply without affecting brain glucose utilization.
- Ketones from MCT compensate for the brain glucose deficit in AD in direct proportion to the level of plasma ketones achieved.
Helps manage Epilipsey
- Efficacy of supplemental MCT oil on seizure reduction of adult drug-resistant epilepsy
- https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/1028415X.2022.2065816
- Adult patients with intractable epilepsy were recruited at standard of care clinical visits with their epileptologist. Once enrolled, subjects were instructed to supplement their diet with MCT oil as tolerated twice daily for three months (including a 1-2 week titration period, followed by a 1-2 week tapering off window) while keeping a seizure diary to record total number of seizures, presence of urinary ketones, and any side effects.
- Our data although limited by small sample size, shows that there is an estimated 42% reduction (p < 0.0001) in the rate of seizures
- Most subjects developed ketones in their urine at some point during the trial
Helps manage blood sugar levels
- Effects of dietary medium-chain triglyceride on weight loss and insulin sensitivity in a group of moderately overweight free-living type 2 diabetic Chinese subjects
- https://www.metabolismjournal.com/article/S0026-0495(07)00104-7/abstract
- The study was conducted in a group of 40 free-living subjects in an urban area of China. The subjects were randomized into 2 test groups, with one given MCT and the other corn oil as control for long-chain triglycerides (LCTs).
- The test oil (18 g/d) was administered as part of daily food intake for 90 days
- The MCT group showed an across-time reduction in body weight and WC, an increase in serum C-peptide concentration, a reduction in homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance, and a decrease in serum cholesterol concentration (P < .05, repeated measures). No significant across-time difference for the above parameters was detected for the LCT group
- comparison also shows reduced body weight, WC, and homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance in the MCT group compared with the LCT group at the end of the study
Ingredient #9: Uva Uris leaf extract
Improves urinary tract infections
- Limited effectiveness of over-the-counter plant preparations used for the treatment of urinary tract infections as inhibitors of the urease activity from Staphylococcus saprophyticus
- https://academic.oup.com/jambio/articleabstract/122/5/1380/6714338?redirectedFrom=fulltext&login=false
- The aims of this study were to test 14 over-the-counter plant preparations as inhibitors of this urease and to determine whether they can prevent the increase in pH that normally occurs in bacterial cultures containing urea.
- The green tea and Uva-Ursi preparations reduced urease activity in a soluble extract of S. saprophyticus by more than 75%. Two herbal mixtures were weakly inhibitory and reduced activity by about 25%, but the other products had little or no effect. The green tea and Uva-Ursi extracts also inhibited urease activity in whole cells by more than 75%.
- The green tea and Uva-Ursi preparations prevented the increase in pH that normally occurs when S. saprophyticus is grown in an artificial urine medium, but this was due primarily to bacterial death.
- Uva-ursi extract and ibuprofen as alternative treatments for uncomplicated urinary tract infection in women (ATAFUTI)
- The participants were 382 women aged 18-70 years with symptoms of dysuria, urgency, or frequency of urination and suspected by a clinician to have a lower UTI.
Ingredient #10: Flower pollen extract
Fights against cancer cells
- Review of the anticancer activities of bee products.
- The raw materials, crude extracts and purified active compounds from them have been found to exhibit interesting bioactivities, such as antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities
- Bee product peptides induce apoptotic cell death in vitro in several transformed (cancer) human cell lines, including those derived from renal, lung, liver, prostate, bladder and lymphoid cancers.
- These bioactive natural products may, therefore, prove to be useful as part of a novel targeted therapy for some types of cancer, such as prostate and breast cancer.
Regulates the immune system
- In vivo activity assessment of a “honey-bee pollen mix” formulation
- https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.3109/13880200903085482
- HBM displayed significant antinociceptive (p <0.01) and anti-inflammatory (p <0.01) activities at 500 mg/kg dose orally without inducing any apparent acute toxicity or gastric damage. HBM was also shown to possess potent antilipidperoxidant activity (p <0.01) at 500 mg/kg dose against acetaminophen-induced liver necrosis model in mice.

After 1 day of use, all his terrible symptoms from prostate issues were completely GONE! He sleeps through the night, no delay in stream, no painful burning, no more dribble. Also of note: Dr. Ardis is a Gift to Humanity from God! His interview with David Nino Rodriguez was fantastic. It was heartening to see Mr. Rodriquez become like all of us -- in awe over what is really going on with the Evil in our world trying to kill us. Mr. Rodriquez was near tears in realizing that Dr. Ardis has solutions. God Bless You All, snowye

Prostate Pro
I believe the prostrate pro has helped me. I was getting up sometimes 5 times/night. Now 1-2. My urinary stream does seem stronger and my bladder getting drained more than it was.
-
So , so unsure?
Ive been taking it for over a month now and I cant say it helps or not. I have good nights and bad nights. If I watch what I drink and how much after dinner, I'm usually ok. But if I drink the wrong stuff, I'm up all night. So can't say either way.
-
it works
Husband went from 5-6 times a night going potty to ONE time a night. it only took about a week to work. Supper happy with this product.

Prostrate Pro
My husband is a skeptic so he really didn't want to take these. Convinced him to just try and if they don't help we would stop them. Well lo and behold when he ran out and I hadn't re-ordered any he asked me to get some more! He said they weren't 100% effective but had enough of an effect on him that he wanted more! So my opinion is that they do work. Probably in varying degrees for each individual, but clearly had a positive effect on my husband!!!

ArdisLabs Prostate Pro
I purchased this for my wife who had uterine fibroids. Every day she would be in pain when sitting down, and she would make 2 trips to the bathroom at night feeling like she needed to pee. After taking this for 1 week she is NOT getting up in the middle of the night. She also just went for a checkup on the fibroids. They have shrank and are no longer causing her pain when sitting down.
